Caroline is Director of PIDCOCK, an award-winning firm leading in sustainable architectural design, advice and thinking, now concentrating on strategic advice.
Caroline is a prominent advocate for the co-creation of an abundant living future. She is interested in creating an agile and flexible ecosystem to assist in gathering resources and sharing research, raising awareness and showing the way to “regenerative” design that goes way beyond not causing damage, but to restoring, renewing and revitalising our environments. Over her career she has served as President for a wide variety of design organisations, including the Living Future Institute Australia, the NSW Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects and the Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council. She is currently Chair of 1 Million Women. Caroline has received a number of awards including the 2019 NSW AIA President’s Award, one of the International Living Future Institute’s 2014 Living Building Hero prizes, and in 2011 she was awarded the Marian Mahony Griffin Award in recognition of her contribution to architecture in NSW. In 2009, Caroline was awarded a Byera Hadley Scholarship to study “The Architecture of (Net) Zero Emissions Housing”.
