Kaity Thompson
Kaity Thompson is a recent high school graduate, climate activist and storyteller, and has been heavily involved in the School Strike for Climate campaign in Melbourne.
Kaity’s work has been instrumental in gaining the endorsement of the Australian Council of Trade Unions and creating the campaign demands briefing paper that was given out to all Victorian MPs.
Kaity’s climate activism journey started with the first November School Strike in 2018, and has empowered her to overcome the challenges of Chronic Fatigue. Since then, she has co-founded Jagajaga Youth for Climate and is an active member of her local Youth Leadership Council.
