Giselle Wilkinson

Giselle Wilkinson is a thought leader, author and social innovator

Giselle co-founded the Sustainable Living Foundation and serves as the current President. She also helped to instigate Breakthrough: National Centre for Climate Restoration. Giselle also co-founded Earth Housing Coop (1986) through which she enabled the establishment at ‘Murundaka‘ of a twenty household, affordable, sustainable, co-housing community. As a social innovator, writer and speaker on sustainability-transition issues, Giselle is working to mobilise whole communities to restore the climatic conditions safe for all species, all people and future generations. She has presented a paper Accelerating Sustainability to an international conference of the Australasia and the Pacific Extension Network and released a book on sustainable living and food, packaged to reach a mainstream Australian audience. She is currently undertaking a Doctorate in ‘Mobilising Whole Communities to Restore a Safe Environment’.
