Peter Cock

Dr. Peter Cock is a pioneer in the creation of communities for a regenerative culture.

Dr. Peter Cock lives on top of Mt. Toolebewong as co-founder of Moora Moora, a co-operative
residential community made up of a diverse group of about 50 adults and 20 children.

He taught environmental decision making and action, conserver society and eco psychology at the Graduate School of Environmental Science at Monash University and has been facilitating workshops on warriorship and empowering democracy.

He is currently a member of a number of environmental groups including being Vice president of Sustainable Living Foundation and an activist with Extinction Rebellion. He is a conscientious objector to war and a warrior for social transformation.

“We need our national political system curtailed in the short term with an emergency cabinet of all parties to make the needed hard decisions. For the long term, we need to start deep democracy work to grow out of diverse localisation that prepares us for direct democracy“
